The story
Having recently featured on the catwalk at Pure London 2011, we thought we should let you know about the extremely cool, and yet extremely ethical, range of bags from RUW.
It's not often you see a manufacturer that manages to get it right from so many angles, but RUW seem to have done just that with their imaginative and vibrant range of fashionable women's bags - all lovingly handcrafted in their Spanish factory from recycled materials.
Marketed as "fashion for people with principles", all the bags are hard-wearing, being made from remnants of acrylic, polyester and denim.
The designs themselves speak of their Catalan provenance, with bright mediterranean splashes of colour and pattern collaged with rich blacks and airy beiges.
The price is right too, starting at around 45 Euros for a small handbag.
