Nancy Rousseau tests a khaki laptop bag from Belkin's Neue Elements range
I was pleasantly surprised by the Belkin NE-LB.
If you asked me to imagine a women's laptop bag that retails in the UK for less than £30, my cartoon thought bubble would contain something cheap-looking and fairly uninspiring.
I certainly didn't expect a stylish yet practical accessory packed with as many excellent features as this bag.
Part of the executive NeuElements range, the NE-LB is a pleasant two-tone khaki design made of canvas and microfibre and fits laptops up to 15.4" in its central compartment. One of the main featutres (and one which is seen more and more in current laptop bag styles) is its removable sleeve which is useful whether around the home or in the office.
In addition to the removable sleeve, storage in the NE-LB is good with a divider compartment for files and pens and a mobile phone holder attached by a carabine to the inside of the bag.
On the outside there are a further three storage pockets - a rear magazine pouch, and two smaller zip pockets on the front of the bag.
The whole product is well padded throughout especially given the light weight of this line.
My only slight gripe is the absence of a shoulder strap which would perhaps makes this bag unsuitable for longer commutes or trips away.
As well as khaki the bag is also available in two-tone black.
Great value for the price, an excellent everyday bag.
Prices vary but you shouldn't expect to pay more than £30.00.
